Celebrating St. Patrick's Day!

We love to celebrate holidays at VCP, and one of our favorites is St. Patrick's Day! Here are some photos of how we celebrated this fun holiday at school!

Learning About Healthy Vision from Dr. Bartles!

We are excited to share that this week, Dr. and Mrs. Bartles came to visit our school, and taught us about eye care, eye safety and about the different ways people see objects and colors. We got to wear some extra-special glasses that allowed us to see a really cool 3-D image! Here are some photos from this special visit.

Pancakes & PJ's with our favorite Police Officer!

Our favorite police officer, Officer Joe, was nice enough to come to our school and make pancakes for us during our "P" week! And, we got to wear our pajamas - even Officer Joe! We tasted buttermilk and chocolate chip pancakes and then Officer Joe read the book "If You Give a Pig a Pancake." The day was PERFECTLY fun! Thank you, Officer Joe!!

Dr. Joe's Special Visit

What a special day it was when Dr. Joe visited our class! He read Bear Feels Sick by Karma Wilson, taught us about treating injuries with heat packs and ice packs, showed us his very special stethoscope and even gave us our very own medical masks and gloves! We hope you can visit again soon, Dr. Joe!

Making Marvelous Music!

Ms. Lisa recently visited our school and as usual, our students had a fantastic time making music using rhythmic instruments, singing, using teamwork skills with a parachute, and moving to music with scarves and bean bags! Another fun part of the day was moving to music from different countries, including Mexico, Japan and China! Our students especially loved listening to Ms. Lisa read (and sing) a book about singing animals! Thank you, Ms. Lisa!! Click or right click a photo to make it larger.

Speech & Early Language Development for Your Preschooler
